There are no pretensions on this one. It’s as desi as can be…it’s a taste of home!! It can be used for cooking or just sprinkle some on your fruit, salad, chaat, channas, chaas or anything!! This is the most versatile spice mix and the only one you will need to enhance your cooking! And when you crave for a bit of India when you are abroad…THIS WORKS LIKE MAGIC!!
SALAD SPICE
This is an amalgamation of many spices from across the world put together in one little bottle !There is Wasabi from Japan and Togarashi and then there is some Zaatar and Sumac and dried mint, dried Basil, dried Oregano all from my home garden. Added dried ginger too. Plus sweet paparika from Spain and Saffron from Venezuela plus onion flowers from France and roasted garlic and lots of this and that to come together and create an explosion of flavours when you eat it. Best ways to use it is as a Salad dressing with olive oil honey and lemon juice and some freshly grated garlic and ginger mix well and pour over a salad of your choice.Add it to a bowl of hung curd along with some honey and it makes a lovely dip.Sprinkle it over your toast or eggs or rice.And just add some to olive oil and Balsamic vinegar and mop it up with fresh bread . Pep up your food with this! ANYWAY YOU WANT!!
